New York Red Bulls Academy teams continue strong start to MLS NEXT season

New York Red Bulls Academy teams had a 4-3 record this weekend, with 22 goals scored and 11 goals allowed.
Red Bulls U-19’s suffered their first loss of the season losing to Bethesda Soccer Club, 4-0. Red Bulls U-17’s fell to Philadelphia Union, 2-1. Despite, going down in the first half, Eli Conway recorded his first goal for the Academy off of a pass from Nicholas Rabiu. Red Bulls U-15 also fell to Philadelphia Union, 1-0.
Red Bulls U-14’s won on the road against Player Development Academy (PDA), 5-2. The current Player of the Week Nate Worth opened up the scoring making that three goals in his last two matches. Brady Boulanger rounded out the scoring in the first half. In the second half, Pipeloore Olanrewaju and Zidane Yanez both scored their second goals of the season.
Red Bulls U-13’s defeated PDA, 4-0, and have yet to concede a goal this season. Finn Moran recorded a first half brace, while Aiden Costner added the third goal before halftime. Sascha Oliveria scored his first goal for the Academy in the second half.
Red Bulls U-12’s Grey won their fourth straight match beating FC Delco, 8-2. Jonathan Condor recorded his third hat trick of the fall season in the win. Luke Lee and Kuba Speiwak each added braces, while new Academy recruit Riku Hirano scored the final goal of the contest.
Red Bulls U-12’s Red defeated Penn Fusion, 4-0, to keep their unbeaten streak alive. Michael Leandrou recorded a brace, while Paul Sokoloff and Marcus Reynoso added goals in the second half to secure the victory.
Prior to this weekend, the club had posted 3 consecutive undefeated weekends.
