New Winter High School Rankings released (Girls)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Via United Soccer Coaches) – United Soccer Coaches and USA TODAY High School Sports released today the fourth set of regional and national polls in the USA TODAY/United Soccer Coaches rankings for boys and girls high school soccer in the winter season.

Carroll High School (Southlake, Texas) sits in the top spot in the boys poll for a second straight ranking with a 13-0-2 mark, while Archbishop McCarthy in Southwest Ranches, Fla. is the No. 1 team on the girls side for a second straight poll as well with a 25-0-0 record.

The top six in the girls rankings are unchanged while the boys poll saw four new teams climb into the top five this week. In all, eight new teams entered the top 10 in the rankings, including six in the boys poll.
