New set of Fall High School Soccer Rankings released
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — United Soccer Coaches announced the latest set of Fall High School Rankings for boys and girls soccer in the fall season on Tuesday.
Nine new teams cracked the national rankings with the top teams in each poll remaining unchanged.
St. Ignatius (Cleveland, Ohio) is off to an 10-0 start this fall and sits atop the boys’ rankings. Whitefish Bay (Milwaukee, Wis.) moved up one spot to No. 2, while Fort Zumwalt West (St. Peters, Mo.) jumped into third. Wilson (West Lawn, Pa.) and Concord (Concord, N.H.) were both unranked a week ago and are now fourth and fifth, respectively.
In the girls’ poll, Houston High School (Germantown, Tenn.) continues to sit atop the rankings with Davis (Kaysville, Utah) ranked in the No. 2 spot for the third straight week. Mount Notre Dame (Cincinnati, Ohio), Mars Area (Mars, Pa.) and Champlain Valley Union (Hinesburg, Vt.) rounds out the top five in the same positions as last week.
