Fall High School Rankings unveiled for boys and girls soccer
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — United Soccer Coaches announced the latest set of Fall High School Rankings for boys and girls soccer in the fall season on Tuesday. Eight new teams entered the rankings this week, but the top teams in each poll remain unchanged.
St. Ignatius (Cleveland, Ohio) is off to an 8-0 start and sits atop the boys’ rankings. North Penn (Lansdale, Pa.) moved up one spot to No. 2, while Whitefish Bay (Milwaukee, Wis.) jumped up seven spots from No. 10 to No. 3. Olathe South (Olathe, Kan.) moved up to No. 4 and Yarmouth (Yarmouth, Maine) rounds out the top five.
Houston High School (Germantown, Tenn.) continues to sit atop the girls’ rankings thanks to a 9-0 record. Davis (Kaysville, Utah) is 13-1 and ranked in the No. 2 spot for the second straight week, as is Mount Notre Dame (Cincinnati, Ohio) in the third position. Mars Area (Mars, Pa.) moved up 13 spots to No. 4 and Champlain Valley Union (Hinesburg, Vt.) rounds out the top five.
