NCAA Women’s College Cup is set as BYU earns last Final Four spot
For the first time in history, BYU is headed to the College Cup. The Cougars clinched the last of four spots on Saturday night by defeating South Carolina 4-1. BYU joins Florida State, Santa Clara and Rutgers.
Florida State is headed to the College Cup for the third straight year, while defending champion Santa Clara will have the chance to defend its title on home turf. This is Rutgers’ first appearance in the College Cup since 2015. As mentioned, BYU will be making history with its first-ever College Cup appearance.
