Girls Academy hosts top prospects from Northwest region at NW Talent ID Event

The Girls Academy (GA) hosted its Talent ID Event for the Northwest Conference on Monday, May 24 at Legacy Fields Sports Complex in Tracy, California.

Players were selected for the event based on their strong performances in GA competition, with recommendations originating from U.S. Soccer scouts, GA Talent ID representatives and club leadership.

Standout players from GA clubs throughout Northern California and Washington participated in the Talent ID Event throughout the day on Monday, with training sessions in the morning and games in the afternoon. Rosters were composed of top prospects from the 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007 age groups.

Through the GA’s relationship with the U.S. Soccer scouting department, the league’s Talent ID Events will serve as a key piece in helping to identify talent for U.S. Youth National Teams. To view the Northwest Talent ID Event homepage, Click Here.
