“Over the past two years, we have made tremendous progress in improving the youth development at our club, which includes the deliberate implementation of a consistent curriculum, quality of coaching, and player commitment standards,” Director of Coaching & Player Development Lawrence Tsoi said.

“Our affiliation with FC Kansas City is yet another step toward our goal in becoming the best. FC Kanas City is recognized as having one of the most innovative and comprehensive player development systems in the country and it will bring a direct benefit to all of our players. We are extremely proud to be joining the FCKC family and equally excited to be taking our club to the next level!”

Fusion SC joins Dakota Alliance Soccer Club, Magellan soccer and Papillion Soccer Club as FC Kansas City’s affiliates.

“We are excited to announce Fusion SC of Minnesota to our growing Affiliate Clubs as our 4th member,” affiliate coordinator Dan Brown said. “It has been great working with Lawrence to get this relationship going and I know we share similar beliefs on the development of our youth players. Welcome to the FC Kansas City family, Lawrence and the rest of Fusion SC.”

Within this relationship, there will be opportunities that include everything from expanded playing and collegiate scouting for the girls to coaching and educational exchanges and collaborations between the staffs. In addition, the girls will have a tangible connection through partnered camps and clinics where the girls will get to meet their real-life heroes that play on both the FCKC first team as well as several US National Team players.
