ECNL regular season concludes, playoff positions set

The Elite Clubs National League 2011-2012 regular season concluded this past weekend and playoff positions are set.
Lonestar SC’s Under-15s, in 15th place going into the weekend, were unable to squeak into the playoffs, falling 2-0 to Dallas Texans to finish one spot out of the top-16 playoff positions at 6-6-4 and a 1.29 points-per-game average, just .04 behind 16th-place Mustang SC (4-4-4, 1.33 ppg). Gwinnett Soccer Association finished atop National Flight A with a 7-0-2 record and a 2.56 ppg.
Crossfire Premier U-18s defeated San Juan Soccer Club 1-0, and in the process knocked out the San Diego Surf, the 2011 U-17 ECNL champions. Dallas Texans, at 10-1-2 and a 2.46 ppg, finished first in Flight A.
In U-16 Flight A, Slammers FC edged out Lonestar SC for the top spot, as Slammers were 13-3-2 and had a 2.28 ppg in the flight, while Lonestar had a 13-2-4 record and a 2.26 ppg in the flight.
Eclipse Select took first place in U-17 Flight A with a 11-2-0 and a 2.54 ppg.
The 2012 ECNL National Finals will take place June 24-30 in Waukegan, Illinois. Here is a tentative schedule. A game schedule for the event is forthcoming.
