ECNL Boys Super Cup 2025 Recap: Concorde Fire, Dallas Texans, XF Academy win titles

With the success of last season’s inaugural ECNL Boys East Coast Super Cup and West Coast Super Cup, the ECNL held an expanded ECNL Boys Super Cup format this season, including the inaugural ECNL Boys Central Super Cup, as well as the inaugural ECNL Boys Super Cup National Championship coming this April, in conjunction with ECNL Indianapolis (April 10-12).

Each ECNL Boys Super Cup brings together eight of the top clubs from that region of the country, with each club fielding one team at the event comprised of their top U16-U18/19 players. Super Cup qualification is based upon performance across the U16, U17, and U18/19 age groups throughout the 2024-25 regular season and postseason.

The ECNL Boys West Coast Super Cup took place November 28-30 in San Diego at Surf Cup Sports Park in conjunction with the Surf College Cup Showcase, while the ECNL Boys East Coast Super Cup and inaugural ECNL Boys Central Super Cup were held last weekend in Raleigh, in conjunction with the 2025 NCAA Men’s College Cup, built into the visitRaleigh.com Boys College Showcase.

Each ECNL Boys Super Cup provided outstanding collegiate scouting opportunities, combining the star power of top ECNL Boys clubs in the country with great existing showcases.

Catch up on all the action from all three ECNL Boys Super Cups below.

ECNL BOYS WEST COAST SUPER CUP

XF Academy shined last season, capturing four ECNL Boys National Championships, was named the ECNL Boys Overall Club Champion, and is off to a great start this season, leading the Northwest Conference in four age groups. At the ECNL West Coast Super Cup in San Diego they added another accolade to their amazing year.

XF Academy opened the ECNL Boys West Coast Super Cup with a 4-0 win over Utah Avalanche, before picking up a 3-0 win over Pateadores to advance to the final.

On the other side of the bracket, Legends FC made their way to the final by knocking off Seattle United 1-0 in the quarterfinals and then surviving to get past Las Vegas Heat Surf on PKs in the semifinals.

In the final, XF Academy kept their stellar run going, grabbing the early lead in the match on a corner kick in the 17th minute. The contest remained tight most of the way, but in the 77th minute XF Academy doubled their lead and later tacked on a third goal to secure the 3-0 victory and claim the ECNL Boys West Coast Super Cup.

ECNL BOYS EAST COAST SUPER CUP

Concorde Fire Platinum claimed the title in the ECNL Boys East Coast Super Cup. Following a tremendous season that saw them send all six age groups to the ECNL Boys Playoffs, including an appearance in the U14 National Championship Game, as well as a semifinal appearance in the U18/19 age group, Concorde Fire has been rolling again this fall, highlighted by clinching the Southeast Conference title in the U18/19 age group.

Concorde Fire opened the ECNL Boys East Coast Super Cup with a tight battle against Florida Kraze Krush. The two sides were scoreless much of the way until Concorde Fire found the lone goal of the match in the 82nd minute to claim the 1-0 win and advance into the semifinals.

In the semifinals, Concorde Fire fell behind 1-0 to NCFC Youth Academy, but rallied back behind three second half goals to punch their ticket to the final with a 3-1 win.

The win set up a showdown in the final with fellow Southeast Conference foe South Carolina Surf. Surf advanced to the final following a quarterfinal win over Lehigh Valley Rush, before advancing to the final in PKs over Charlotte SA.

In the championship match, Concorde Fire jumped on top with a header in the 19th minute, before tacking on a second goal in the 34th minute.

South Carolina Surf cut the lead in half going into the halftime break, but Concorde Fire responded with two additional second half goals to clinch the ECNL Boys East Coast Super Cup with a 4-1 win.

ECNL BOYS CENTRAL SUPER CUP

Coming off a season where they sent five age groups to the ECNL Playoffs, including their U16 team making it to the ECNL National Semifinals, Dallas Texans Academy kept their success going at the ECNL Boys Central Super Cup.

Dallas Texans Academy opened the ECNL Boys Central Super Cup, taking on Tennessee SC in the quarterfinals. Tennessee SC jumped on top 1-0 in the opening half, but Dallas Texans fought their way back into the game with a goal in the 66th minute to knot things up at 1-1.

With the game tied at 1-1 after regulation the two sides headed to PKs to find a winner. Tennessee SC grabbed the early lead in the shootout, but behind three consecutive saves on the final three attempts, Dallas Texans rallied to book their spot in the semifinal.

In the semifinals, Dallas Texans took on fellow Texas Conference opponent, Oklahoma Energy FC, where they advanced to the ECNL Central Super Cup Final behind two second half goals to win 2-0.

On the other side of the bracket, Sporting Nebraska advanced to the final following wins over both Eclipse Select SC and Solar SC Academy, by scores of 4-1 and 3-1, respectively.

In the championship match, Dallas Texans grabbed the lead on a goal in the 21st minute, before doubling their lead in the 64th minute to take a 2-0 lead, which they held onto to claim the inaugural ECNL Boys Central Super Cup.
