“I decided to attend Duke because I want to be a part of a program that has a long legacy of success nationally and in the ACC for my last year of collegiate soccer,” said Hase. “It was an easy decision to make once I met the staff and team, because of their authenticity and ability to make me feel welcome immediately. I’m so excited to get started!”

In the Big Ten stats, she ranked ninth in shots per game (2.56), fourth in shots on goal (1.72), tied for sixth in goals (10), tied for fifth in game-winning goals (4) and eighth in points (23). In a key stretch in October, Hase registered a goal at 20th-ranked Wisconsin, another goal at Iowa and her two goals against No. 4 Penn State.

Over her four seasons at Northwestern, she started 67-of-71 matches, while totaling 14 goals, 10 assists and 38 points. She tallied six game-winning goals. Hase started her final 41 matches in a Wildcat uniform.

As a freshman and sophomore, Hase started at outside back and helped lead the Wildcats to nine shutouts. She moved to wingback and outside forward her final two years, where she posted 14 goals and 10 assists.

Hase will graduate in May from Northwestern with a degree in journalism along with an adjunct major of international studies. She is a two-time Academic All-Big Ten selection as a sophomore and junior.
