Dev. Academy: D.C. United sweep Potomac, but lose, draw with Bays Chelsea

D.C. United swept Potomac in U.S. Soccer Development Academy play over the weekend, as United’s Under-18s took a 4-1 win while the U-16s beat Potomac 1-0.
Marcus Salandy-Defour scored twice for United’s U-18s in the win, with Jannik Eckenrode and Collin Martin adding goals for the winners.
Nigel Robinson scored the lone goal in United’s U-18 win.
On Sunday, Baltimore Bays Chelsea’s U-18s received goals in the last five minutes of the match from Michael Gamble and Jacori Hayes to defeat United 2-0, while the two teams’ U-16 sides played to a scoreless tie.
