Club Champions League members capture thirteen State Cup Championships

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.  (June 6, 2014) – Thirteen member teams of the the Club Champions League (CCL) have won State Cup Championships for the 2013-2014 seasonal year for Virginia, DC or Maryland.

“The proven and stable CCL club-centric developmental model brings out the very best in our member clubs, activates youth player development and allows for competitive success at state, regional and national events,” said Brian Kuk, CCL Executive Director.

The Champions are as follows:

VYSA Boys 2013-2014 State Champions
U12 (PWSI), U13 (BRYC), U14 (Loudoun), U15 (Loudoun), U16 (Arlington), U17 (Arlington), U18 (ABGC United)

VYSA Girls 2013-2014 State Champions
U12 (PWSI), U14 (ABGC United), U15G (BRYC via PWSI), U16G (PWSI)

MSYSA Girls 2013-2014 State Champions
U12 (Maryland United), U14 (FC Frederick)

“CCL member clubs represent over 75 percent of all State Championships in Virginia. We are excited to have so many CCL clubs move on to the US Youth Soccer Regional Championships,” commented Dave Amsler, CCL President.
