U.S. National Teams are winding down with just an ID camp kicking off, WNT friendlies announced, and a friendly tournament ending while two Youth National Team players inked contracts this week:

  • USWNT has announced its final two matches of 2019
    • Nov 7 vs Sweden (Columbus, Ohio)
    • Nov 10 vs Costa Rica (Jacksonville, Fla.)
  • Fifty-nine players gather in Chula Vista, Calif for the U.S. U-16 Boys National Team Talent ID Camp
    • Sept. 19-23 with matches against squads from Club Tijuana and LA Galaxy as well as intra-squad matches
  • U.S. U-17 Women’s National Team defeated host-nation Sweden 2-1 in friendly tournament
    • Both goals scored in the first-half by Amelia White and Trinity Byars
  • U.S. U-23 Mens National Team player, George Acosta, has signed with Inter Miami CF
  • U.S. U-17 Mens National Team player, Bryang Kayo, joins Orange County SC
    • From D.C. United Academy/Loudoun United FC

U.S. Soccer Development Academy

The young U.S. Soccer Development Academy 2019-20 season is looking very bright for many clubs. We’ve highlighted 10 clubs to watch throughout the season on both the Boys and Girls side.


NCAA

United Soccer Coaches has released their updated weekly rankings with a new No. 1 (University of Virginia) in the Division I women’s poll and three other new teams claiming top spots. Wake Forest remains at the top of the men’s Division I rankings with a 5-0 record.
