2014 id² National Selection International Tour heads to Italy
This week, the members of the 2014 id² National Selection International Tour will begin their collective journey to Italy. The players, 17 boys born in 2000 and one born in 2001, will be exposed to elite Italian talent with three matches against youth academy teams of ACF Fiorentina (March 4), Inter Milan (March 6) and Juventus FC (March 7). The traveling party will also experience plenty of Italian culture, including two professional matches.
The trip will begin Feb. 27 with a brief training camp in northern New Jersey before the traveling party departs for Italy. Members will return to American soil March 10.
