The Fredericksburg Area Soccer Association will host its second Washington Invitational youth tournament in August. The girls weekend is scheduled for August 16 and 17 and the boys are scheduled for August 23 and 24. Winning state Gatorade Player of the Year once is an outstanding achievement at the close of a high school season, but being recognized twice shows exemplary consistency at a high level of play in addition to impressive commitments off the field. Region I Premier League concludes with tight scorelines between elite teams
