EDP technical director John Saunders heads to Cedar Stars Monmouth
After a successful tenure as EDP’s Technical Director, John Saunders is moving to EDP member club Cedar Stars Monmouth to be its Director of Youth Development. In that role, he will be responsible for Cedar Stars’ US Soccer Development Academy Boys teams as well the organization’s non-DA club teams.

Winners in the 13U through 19/20U Boys and Girls matches earned a Regional title and a berth to the 2017 US Youth Soccer National Championships held July 24-30, at the Toyota Soccer Center in Frisco, Texas.
First champions crowned at US Youth Soccer Region III Championships
Celebrations were in order on Wednesday at BB&T Soccer Complex at Bryan Park in Greensboro, N.C., as two teams claimed 2017 US Youth Soccer Region III Championships. By winning the title, the two teams — 19/20U Girls 98 CR Academy (NC) and 19/20U Boys OFC 98 (OK) — have secured a spot in the US Youth Soccer National Championships, which will be played July 24-30 in Frisco, Texas.
Match-ups announced for U.S. Soccer Development Academy quarterfinals
The quarterfinal match-ups of the 2017 Development Academy Playoffs were set following Monday's final round of the group stage at Grand Park in Westfield, Ind. Eight teams remain alive in both the U-15/16 Playoffs and the U-17/18 Playoffs with the quarterfinals scheduled for July 6-7 at sites across the country.
