The Virginia Youth Soccer Association (VYSA) 1999 Girls and 2000 Boys Olympic Development Program (ODP) teams captured regional titles over the weekend at the US Youth Soccer Region I ODP Tournament in New Castle, Delaware.

The Boys-Under-14 Arch Capital Group Cup final on June 13 at the Peter Collins Soccer Park in Plainview went to overtime and was decided in a shootout between two teams from Queens. Alianza Peru of the Big Apple Youth Soccer League (BAYSL) tied Eleftheria Spartans of the Cosmopolitan Junior Soccer League (CJSL), 1-1, after regulation and two overtimes but Alianza became the Kings of Queens by virtue of their 4-1 shootout win.

In a goalfest between two Long Island Junior Soccer League teams, the Inwood United Knights defeated the Port Washington Cobras, 6-4, in the final of the U-13 Boys Arch Capital Group Cup of the Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association on June 13.
