U-14 Girls’ National Team to hold second training camp of 2012 at The Home Depot Center
U.S. Soccer Director of Women’s Development Jill Ellis and U.S. U-15 Girls’ National Team head coach Damon Nahas will conduct the second training camp of the year for the Under-14 age group running from Aug. 12-19 at The Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif.

Swanson names 21-player roster for 2012 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Japan

The U.S. U-17 Women’s National Team will travel to Croatia and Slovenia from July 19-30 for training and games as the squad continues its world championship preparations.

U.S. Under-20 Women’s National Team gears up for Women’s World Cup with extended training camp
The U.S. Under-20 Women’s National Team will come together for an extended training camp from July 15-30 in Bradenton, Fla. U.S. head coach Steve Swanson will bring 24 players to the two-week event as he continues to evaluate his player pool to eventually choose a 21-player FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup roster.

USA draws France, Gambia and Korea DPR in FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup
CONCACAF champion USA, host Azerbaijan, European champion Germany and Asian champion Japan earned seeds. In Group A, Azerbaijan drew Colombia, Nigeria and Canada. Group C features Japan, Mexico, New Zealand and Brazil. Group D features Germany, Uruguay, China PR and Ghana.

After winning the Three Nations Tournament in Norway by virtue of a 1-1 tie with Sweden and a 4-1 victory against the hosts, the U.S. Under-23 Women’s National Team finished its European event with a 4-2 loss to the Norwegians in a friendly match.

The U.S. Under-20 Women’s National Team gave up a goal in the 81st minute in a 1-0 loss to Japan in the first of two games against the 2012 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup hosts.

U.S. U-23 Women’s National Team defeats Norway 4-1 to win Three Nations Tournament
The U.S. Under-23 Women’s National Team scored three first half goals and added one late to roll past the Norway U-23 Women’s National Team 4-1 and win the Three Nations Tournament.
