Central Michigan University women’s soccer announces 11-player signing class

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Central Michigan soccer coach Jeremy Groves announced his first signing class, which comprises 11 student-athletes who will join the program for the 2020 season.

The class includes two sets of twins, Cassidy and Samantha Brooks of Bellfountain, Ont., and Megan and Rachel Logue of Oak Hills, Calif.

The class is the first at CMU for Groves, who took over the program a year ago and guided the Chippewas to a 7-6-2 finish in 2019.

“We are extremely excited with this class,” Groves said. “We believe this group of players are going to come in and compete to play straight away and help us achieve the goals we are aiming for. They are all good players who play at a good level and have enjoyed a lot of success in high school and club soccer.

“We are welcoming players who play in every position on the field, GKs, defenders, midfielders and forwards. We are really looking forward to August when we will welcome them on campus”.
