Players That Impressed: Girls Academy Playoffs and Summer Showcase 2025

The Girls Academy Playoffs and Summer Showcase took place from June 19-24 in Norco, CA. Teams in the U14-U17 age groups battled for spots in the GA Finals, while the U13 and U19 age groups crowned their national champions.

Alongside the postseason action, GA teams also competed in Summer Showcase competition, in front of hundreds of college scouts. (College Coaches)

2029

Aubrie Randall

Forward
CA

Randall was phenomenal throughout the GA Playoffs, playing a major role in her team’s success, as City SC 2011 White earned their place in the GA Finals. Randall created many opportunities with her lethal crosses into the box, and excellent field vision. She finished the event with 2 goals and 2 assists. (HIGHLIGHTS)

2027

Baruch demonstrated her versatility by playing with the Trianlge United U17s as both a forward and a midfielder. She was tireless in her runs on the wing, while her speed consistently pressed the defense. As a holding midfielder, she used her physicality to regain possession and clog the opposition’s passing lanes. Baruch played every minute of the showcase and highlighted her qualities as a two-way player and strong D1 prospect.

Addison Vrabel | Forward
Beadling SC 2009 (PA)

Vrabel and her Beadling SC 2009 teammates came up just short of advancing to the GA Finals, but had a strong showing in Norco regardless, as they went 2-1-0. Vrabel scored some big goals for Beadling, finding the net in each of her team’s victories over STA Soccer and Wasatch SC.

Kalee Good | Midfielder
Union KC 2009 (MO)

The team captain for Union KC 2009, Kalee Good split time between several different positions in the GA Summer Showcase. She played all over the midfield, including the #10, #8 and #6 roles, and made major contributions in each spot. Good won a high rate of 50-50 balls and worked hard to churn possessions in her team’s favor, and showed some scoring prowess with a goal when playing on the attacking side. (HIGHLIGHTS)

Erika Bovell | Forward
Kansas Rush 2009 (KS)

A member of the Venezuela U-17 Women’s National Team, Bovell showcased her scoring ability for a Kansas Rush 2009 squad which posted an unbeaten 2-0-1 record in the GA Summer Showcase. Bovell got in on the scoring against New Mexico Soccer Academy, powering home a shot after receiving a great pass into the box from teammate Dani Smith. (WATCH)

Mariam Kante | Forward / Midfielder
Kansas Rush 2009 (KS)

Kante had a productive showing for Kansas Rush 2009 during their undefeated run in the GA Summer Showcase, scoring 2 goals and contributing an assist. She had a big game against New Mexico Soccer Academy, leading the team to a 4-1 victory with a goal and assist in that contest. Kante also found the net in a 3-0 win over Coppermine SC.

2026

Madison Taylor

TX

This future TCU Horned Frog showed out during the GA Playoffs, leading HTX Soccer 07/06 in the semifinal round in the U19 age group. Taylor earned the U19 Golden Boot Award, as the top scorer for an HTX squad which piled up 7 goals during the group stage.

Representing the defending GA national champion Lou Fusz SC 2008 side, Van Rhein dominated on the attack. Having already verbally committed to join the nationally-renowned Arkansas Razorbacks in 2026, showed why she’s considered an elite level recruit with a hat trick performance against Utah Celtic. She also contributed an assist in the game (her second of the event), as her team now turns their attention to the GA Finals.

Brenna West

Midfielder
MO

Racked up a trio of assists and scored a goal of her own over the course of the GA Playoffs, as reigning national champion Lou Fusz SC 2008 booked their spot in the GA Finals once again. West has verbally committed to Kansas State for the Class of 2026, as she’s well-established as an outstanding playmaker and creative passer. (HIGHLIGHTS)

Parker Dieck

Another high-level NCAA D1 recruit from Lou Fusz SC 2008, Dieck has verbally committed to West Virginia University for the Class of 2026. The multi-talented center back played tough defense throughout the event, while also scoring a pair of goals.

2025

The Class of 2025 BYU commit showed why she was recruited to play for one of the top college programs in the country, as she guided Wasatch SC to the U19 GA national championship and earned MVP honors. Sivulich is a dynamic midfielder who flies around all over the field, creating scoring chances for herself and her teammates. She breaks down defenses in clinical fashion, and always seems to make her best plays when it matters most.

Abby Affleck

Forward
UT

As she prepares to join the University of Utah for her freshman year, Affleck put an exclamation mark on her club career with an impressive national title run with Wasatch SC 2007. Affleck scored in three different postseason games, including a goal in the GA Final as Wasatch defeated NEFC 4-2.
