Below are some of the top players from the weekend’s event sorted by graduation year. You can also nominate a player who stood out during the event through the following link.

2026

Owen Willcox | Defender
South Carolina Surf 08 (SC)

Earned Team of the Week honors from his club for his standout performance at the Showcase. Over the course of the weekend, Willcox led the Surf backline to a shutout over Charlotte Independence’s Academy team (1-0) and held a potent Florida West attack to just a goal (3-1).

2025

Mateo Rodriguez Dominguez | Midfielder/Forward
Loudoun SC 06/05 RL (VA)

Buried the game-winner for Loudoun in their finale against Atlanta Fire 06/05 ECNL RL. Rodriguez has a clever first touch that he can use to create space against a defender and either rip a shot or lay off and find a teammate for a goal-scoring opportunity. Thanks in part to Dominguez’s work, Loudoun qualified for the ECNL-RL playoffs (5-3-0, 15 points).

Brad Bond | Midfielder
Atlanta Fire United 06/05 (GA)

A master organizer in the midfield, Bond led the Fire to a 2-1-0 record in the top flight. Bond can stem opponents attacking efforts with a timely interception or tackle and immediately find a teammate in open space. Thanks to Bond’s set-up work in the midfield, Atlanta scored eight goals on the weekend, third most across all U19 Showcase brackets.

Jaxon Silverman | Midfielder
North Carolina FC Youth Academy 06 (NC)

Scored the game-winning goal to cap the NCFC 06s Showcase weekend, a 1-0 win over rivals Charlotte Independence Academy. Silverman can take any space given to him in the attacking and use it to his advantage. His strength and speed make him a difficult mark for defenders and an amazing attack partner for his teammates.

Anthony Martinez Campos | Midfielder/Forward
North Carolina FC Youth Academy 07 (NC)

Netted a brace in North Carolina’s big 6-1 win to cap an undefeated run at this year’s Showcase. Martinez, who was named to the ECNL’s All Mid-Atlantic Conference First Team last season, is a highly technical goalscorer that works well with his back to goal.

Landon Petz | Midfielder/Forward
North Carolina FC Youth Academy 07 (NC)

Helped set the tone for a strong weekend in their home tournament, assisting on Jacob McCowell’s first goal for NCFC and scoring their second in the 2-1 win over Charlotte Independence. His speed and close dribbling poses problems for defenders, forcing them to play catch up. He is also unafraid at drawing fouls, as evidenced by him earning a penalty in their match against Atlanta Fire. Petz added a third in the 51st minute in their win over Charleston.

Bryce McLean | Defender
Charlotte Independence Academy 05/06 (NC)

Ran a tight and consistent defense in a tough U19 Showcase Bracket C.McLean made several key clearances throughout the weekend, leading the Independence to an undefeated record (3-0-0, 9 points) on just two goals allowed. The Class of 2025 defender was named to the ECNL Mid-Atlantic All-Conference First Team last season.

2024

Tyler Lotito | Midfielder
Florida Hawks Futbol Club 2006 NPL (FL)

Captained the Hawks to an undefeated record, ending with back-to-back wins over TN Select Soccer Academy (3-0) and Pride Soccer Club (2-0). Operating as an attacking midfielder, Lotito has excellent vision and can pick up teammates while in motion on either flank. His timing is also on point and can retain possession for long periods if the Hawks need to eat up time.

Samuel Braidwood | Goalkeeper
Beach FC 06/05 (VA)

The William and Mary college football commit continued his strong run on the futbol pitch with Beach, blanking South Carolina Surf and NCFC Youth each by 2-0 scorelines. Although Beach did concede one in their opening match, they held on to win 2-1 thanks in part due to Braidwood making several key saves. Beach’s one goal allowed was tied with Jacksonville FC lowest among all U19 Showcase teams.
