OMG! What a Goal! Clint Dempsey scores two for U.S. in World Cup qualifying [Video Highlights]

This week’s OMG! What a Goal! goes out to the best player in the U.S. right now – Clint Dempsey. In last night’s impressive 3-1 win over Guatemala in World Cup qualifying, Dempsey had one of his best performances, sneaking in behind the defense and generally creating chaos for the Guatemala back line.

The build-up to his first goal is spectacular, beginning with a beautiful through ball to Eddie Johnson. Johnson’s one-touch cross hit a streaking Dempsey, who slid and chipped the ball over the goalkeeper to give the U.S. their first lead of the game.
