Mao is a rare player with exceptional speed, high soccer IQ, technical ability, and leadership. As Lamorinda SC’s 2011 team captain, she’s helped lead the team to 1st place in the GA Northwest Conference and 15th nationally. This season, despite rotating between four different goalkeepers, Mao’s consistency and leadership have contributed to 10 clean sheets in league play, plus three more in GA Champions Cup matches—including one in the finals. Selected for the GA Northwest Talent ID, Mao has also shown she can adapt quickly to new teammates and coaching styles, making her a strong fit for any team environment.
