Aaliyah Fuentes | Center Back | Class of 2030

Aaliyah Fuentes is a 14-year-old center back and member of the Class of 2030 at Sacred Heart Academy. She has been playing competitive soccer for 7 years and is passionate about continuing to develop both on and off the field.

Aaliyah currently plays for East Meadow Soccer Club ECNL Regional League and the Long Island Rough Riders USL-Y. With the Rough Riders, she helped her team reach the USL-Y Finals in 2025, and the team has qualified for the 2026 USL-Y Finals as well.

In August 2026, Aaliyah was called up to train and compete with the Guatemala U20 Women’s National Team. Representing Guatemala at the international level has been an incredible opportunity and a proud milestone in her soccer career. She has also been invited to return for future national team trainings and competitions.

Aaliyah is a strong, composed defender who takes pride in reading the game, winning 1v1 battles, communicating with her teammates, and helping organize the back line. She is a right-footed player who is comfortable using both feet and can also contribute at right back and in attacking positions when needed.

She is a dedicated student-athlete who is always looking for opportunities to improve her game, compete at a high level, and continue her soccer career at the collegiate level. Aaliyah is committed to working hard, embracing challenges, and becoming the best player and teammate she can be.
