Youth and High School Coaches of the Year announced for 2018

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Via United Soccer Coaches) – United Soccer Coaches announced on Wednesday the association’s 2018 National Coaches of the Year for boys’ and girls’ youth and high school soccer.

The association announced the High School National Assistant Coach of the Year as well.

2018 High School/Youth Boys’ National Coaches of the Year
Large School: Jim Konrad, Naperville North HS (Ill.)
Small School: Bradley Spell, Clinton HS (N.C
Private/Parochial School: Scott Snyder, The Westminster Schools (Ga.)
Youth Boys: Stuart Brown, Tennessee Soccer Club (Tenn.)

2018 High School/Youth Girls’ National Coaches of the Year
Large School: Stephen Popp, Beavercreek HS (Ohio)
Small School: Vic Johnson, Union Academy (N.C.)

Youth Girls: Nadir Moumen, McLean Youth Soccer (Va.)

In addition to today’s announcement, the association’s 2018 Boys and Girls Regional Coaches of the Year and High School Regional Assistant Coaches of the Year have been posted in the Awards Central section of UnitedSoccerCoaches.org.

National Coaches of the Year will be recognized at the United Soccer Coaches Awards Banquet on Friday, Jan. 11, 2019. The Regional High School Coaches of the Year will be acknowledged for their accomplishments at the High School Coaches Breakfast on Saturday, Jan. 12 and Regional Youth Coaches will be honored at the Member Club Social on Thursday, Jan. 10.
