WILLIAMSBURG, VA (Via William & Mary) – William & Mary women’s soccer coach John Daly announced the 2015 18-game schedule on Wednesday afternoon. The slate is highlighted with three NCAA Tournament teams from 2014, a pair of regular season tournaments, and seven home games at Martin Family Stadium at Albert-Daly Field.

W&M opens the 2015 season with just one exhibition. The Tribe will host former Colonial Athletic Association and in-state rival VCU on Sunday, Aug. 16 at Albert-Daly Field.

The regular season gets under way with the first of two regular season tournaments. The Tribe travels to Harrisonburg, Va. where they will participate in the Fairfield Inn by Marriot JMU Invite. W&M opens the tournament with Seton Hall on Aug. 21, before playing 2014 NCAA Tournament participant Georgetown on Sunday, Aug. 23.

W&M returns home for the only time in its first six matches on Friday, Aug. 28. The Tribe will welcome American Athletic Conference foe East Carolina for a 7 p.m. match-up.

The College hits the road for three straight following the home opener starting with a trip to Duke on Sunday Aug. 30. The second road trip of the season also features the second regular seasontournament as the Tribe heads to the N.C. State Tournament in Raleigh, N.C. The Green and Gold opens up play in the event against ACC foe Wake Forest on Friday, Sept. 4, before playing host N.C. State on Sunday, Sept. 6.

Following the road trip, W&M returns home for a pair of matches at Martin Family Stadium. The Tribe plays host to rival Old Dominion on Friday, Sept. 11, before welcoming 2014 NCAA Tournament participant Harvard on Sunday, Sept 13.

The non-conference schedule comes to a close on the road. W&M will renew its rivalry with Princeton on Sunday, Sept. 20.

W&M hosts four CAA contests at Martin Family Stadium in 2015. The conference slate gets underway against Hofstra on Friday, Sept. 25 at 7 p.m. The Green and Gold also welcomes two-time defending CAA Champion Northeastern (Sept. 27), College of Charleston (Oct. 9), and UNCW (Oct. 11) to Albert-Daly Field this season.

The Green and Gold goes on the road five times during the conference season, including a four-game road swing to close the regular season. W&M travels to Elon on Oct. 2, before closing the season at Drexel (Oct. 16), Delaware (Oct. 18), Towson (Oct. 23), and James Madison (Oct. 25).

As always, the regular season champion earns the right to host the 2015 CAA Women’s Soccer Championship. The quarterfinals will be played at the higher seed on Sunday, Nov. 1. The semifinals and finals will be played at the No. 1 seed and will take place on Friday, Nov. 6 and Sunday, Nov. 8, respectively.

The Tribe returns 22 players from last year’s squad, including All-CAA performers seniors Samantha Cordum and Caroline Casey and sophomores Rachel Moore and Elysse Branton. W&M will also welcome six freshmen and a senior transfer.

W&M secured its NCAA record 34th straight winning season in 2014. They posted 12-6-1 record and a berth in the CAA Semifinals.
