Virginia Soccer Association announces Tim Krout as Director of Coaching (U11-U14 Girls)

Virginia Soccer Association (VSA) has announced that Tim Krout will move into the role of Director of Coaching (U11-U14 Girls).

He will be responsible for the player development and coaching methodology for the U11-U14 NPL and Premier girls at VSA.

Krout, who has been with VSA since 2014, is a well-respected soccer professional and has been a key part in the growth of both VSA and VDA. Krout recently lead the VDA Girls 2006 group to the ECNL National Finals (July 2019).

“We are extremely happy to have Tim join our Technical Staff in a full-time role. He has tremendous experience in developing female players to be successful on and off the field. His years as an ODP State Head Coach and his recent success in the ECNL will help us continue to develop the already successful program we have at VSA” – Matt Lacey, Executive Director.

Krout will be responsible for the continued progression of the VSA girls’ programs and will add to the hard work of Alex Herrera’s leadership over of the past three years. Krout also serves as the 2005 Girls Virginia ODP State Head Coach and currently holds a USSF A License.
