University of Nevada women’s soccer team signs transfer from Oregon

RENO, Nev. – University of Nevada women’s head soccer coach Erin Otagaki announced the addition of mid-year transfer Olivia Fothergill.

“We are absolutely thrilled about the addition of Olivia Fothergill to our squad. Olivia has a knack for scoring goals,” Otagaki said. “She relishes the opportunities to finish her chances in and around the box and will be a threat in the attack. We can’t wait for her to start training with our team in February.”

Fothergill joins the Wolf Pack after spending a semester at the University of Oregon. Prior to Oregon, Fothergill attended Mountain View High School in Vancouver, Wash., where she scored 97 career goals, a state record. She was a four-time all-league selection and a three-time all-region selection.

Fothergill will be eligible to compete in the spring per NCAA emergency temporary legislation.
