GAINESVILLE, Fla. (Via University of Florida) – Head Coach Becky Burleigh announced the 12 joining the Gator women’s soccer team for the fall of 2016.

Two have already enrolled at the University of Florida for the spring 2016 semester. Hope Hyde of University Park, Texas, and Jocelyn Nelson of Barnsdall, Oklahoma, are on campus and also participating in the Gators’ spring practices.

“We have a big class coming in. It is a really exciting class. There is just a variety of different holes that we felt we filled in our roster.

+POLL: Which NCAA women’s team had the best recruiting class?

“We are excited about the class,” Burleigh continued. “It joins a great group of returners coming back.”

The 2015 Gators swept the Southeastern Conference regular-season and tournament titles and advanced to the NCAA Round of 16. The team ranked No. 8 on the final National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) poll.
