United Soccer Coaches releases Preseason Fall High School Rankings

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Aug. 7, 2019) – United Soccer Coaches and USA TODAY High School Sports released the preseason boys and girls soccer polls in the USA TODAY/United Soccer Coaches Super 25 Fall Rankings.

St. Benedict’s Prep in Newark, N.J. grabbed the top spot in the boys’ rankings with St. Ignatius of Cleveland, Ohio coming in second. The rest of the top five consists of Martin Luther King, Jr. (New York, N.Y.), Marquette University High (Milwaukee, Wis.) and Salesianum School (Wilmington, Del.)

Jesuit out of Portland, Ore. took the top spot in the girls’ preseason poll, with Northern Highlands Regional (Allendale, N.J.) and McDonogh School (Owings, Md.) in second and third. La Salle Academy from Providence, R.I. and Lakota West of Cincinnati, Ohio rounded out the top five.
