UNC Wilmington women’s soccer signs NC Fusion player to NLI

WILMINGTON, N.C. – Southwest Guilford High School women’s soccer standout Kendall France has signed a National Letter of Intent to play at UNC Wilmington beginning in the 2021 fall season.

A 5-6 midfielder/forward, France becomes the 10th member of Coach Chris Neal‘s incoming class.

“We’re very excited to add Kendall to the squad,” the Seahawks’ third-year bench boss said. “She combines a tremendous IQ for the game with a high variety of skills. She will provide quality and competition in our attack.”

An All-State, All-Region and All-Area selection at Southwest Guilford, France has tallied 15 goals and 13 assists for the Cowgirls. In addition, she registered three goals with three assists for the NC Fusion club team and earned Mid-Atlantic All-Conference Team notice in 2018-19.

France’s older sister, Cameron, played on the Davidson women’s soccer team from 2016-19.
