U.S. Soccer Development Academy Finals match-ups decided

The U.S. Soccer Development Academy U-15/16 and U-17/18 semifinals were played on Thursday at the StubHub Center in Carson California. MLS Academy sides New York Red Bulls and FC Dallas have advanced to the finals out of the U-15/16 age group, while Real Salt Lake and Chicago Fire prevailed in the U-17/18 division.
Red Bulls U-15/16 came away with a 2-1 win over Georgia United in their semifinal match, as two goals in the first 8 minutes by Brian Saramago and Noah Powder were enough to earn the victory.
FC Dallas blanked Philadelphia Union 3-0 to survive and advance to the USSDA championship match.
Real Salt Lake U-17/18 clamped down defensively and controlled possession in their 2-0 shutout of San Jose Earthquakes.
Michael Jimenez and Cameron Lindley each found the net in overtime for Chicago after the Fire and Montréal Impact FC played to a 2-2 draw in regulation. Lindley had a brace in the win and Djordje Mihalovic also netted for Chicago. Thomas Meilleur giguere found the net in the 87 minute for Montréal, equalizing to send the match into OT.
