Tottenham Hotspur America Cup champions crowned

Spurs United of Maryland ran through the boys’ Under-12 bracket, outscoring its opponents 24-4 on its way and defeating Loudoun Soccer 00B Red 9-1 in the championship game of the Tottenham Hotspur America Cup, which took place Aug. 3-5 at Covenant Park in Ellicott City, Maryland.
The tournament featured boys’ teams in the U-12 through U-14 age groups.
In the U-13 bracket, OBGC Soccer Olney Blades finished 4-0-0, shutting out all four of its opponents and scoring 18 goals over the weekend, while, in the U-14 bracket, ASA Real of Maryland overcame an opening game loss, rallying for two wins and defeating HYS Rovers East of Herndon, Va. 3-2 in the final, which was decided in penalties.
