Texas Tech announces 7-member signing class, including ECNL All-American

LUBBOCK, Texas – Head Coach Tom Stone and the Texas Tech soccer program have welcomed seven new signees from the Class of 2025.

Highlighted by a trio of Texans, the signing class encompasses four different states (Colorado, Florida, Oklahoma and Texas) and includes four midfielders, a goalkeeper, a forward and one defender.

The Red Raiders first signee is Houston, Texas product Kaydee Amorosa. Amorosa signs with Tech after a decorated club career playing for Rafa Brazos and the Albion Hurricanes FC program. A future graduate of St. Agnes Academy, Amorosa was a First Team All-State selection and was an 2022-23 ECNL First Team All-Conference selection.

Tech’s second signee, Raleigh Greason will arrive in Lubbock in 2024 after a decorated club career for a familiar program in Real Colorado. Greason will be the fourth Real Colorado product that Texas Tech has signed joining defenders Kylie Bahr and Molly Skurcenski as well as midfielder Peyton Parsons.

An ECNL All-American, Greason was a First Team ECNL All-Conference selection and a First Team All-State selection as she scored 24 total club goals and tallied 14 assists for Coach April Kater. Greason played her Varsity Soccer for Kamee Moorwood at Ralston Valley High School. During her high school career, Greason scored 36 goals and tallied 10 asssits. A two-time First Team All-State selection in Colorado, Greason was a two-time Jeffco Class 5A MVP (2023, 2024).

The next Texas Tech signee comes from unfamiliar territory, as Floridian Gianna Gregoire will take her talents to Lubbock next season. A native of North Port, Gregoire played her club soccer for Ashani Fairclough and West Florida Flames and her high school soccer for Hans Duque at North Port High School. The West Flames MVP, Gregoire scored eight times and tallied 15 assists during her club career and scored 10 goals and had 13 assists for North Port.

Tech’s next signee is goalkeeper Rylie Kuyper. A native of Louisiana, Kuyper was a four-time All-State selection twice earning First Team honors and twice earning Second Team honors. The 2023-24 Louisiana Defensive Player of the Year, Kuyper was also named to the 2023-24 All-State Best XI. Kuyper played her club soccer for LA TDP for Kiran Booluck and Lynn Bradley and her high school soccer for Northlake Christian School and Mason Morise.

The fifth of seven total signees for the Red Raiders is Oklahoma native Layney Molini. A dynamic forward, Molini will join the Tech Soccer family after playing for Oklahoma Energy of the ECNL and WSA of the ECRL. The Tulsa World Player of the Year and a two-time ECNL Quarterfinalist, Molini helped her Energy squad to the ECNL Semifinals in 2024.

Playing for Coach Sam Bowers of Oologah High School, Molini earned her third-straight Team MVP award, as she helped lead the Lady Mustangs to the 2024 Oklahoma Class 4A State Title. A veteran of nearly 140 total goals (79 high school, 60 club) during her club and high school career, Molini has also added 68 career assists (38 high school, 30 club).

The penultimate signee in the Red Raiders class is Frisco native Lauren Smith. Smith, who played her club soccer for Coach Adam Flynn and Sting Black, was named a two-time All-District selection. A captain for Coach Flynn, Smith scored 10 career goals during her high school career. Smith will follow in the footsteps of her mother Melinda, who played for Tech Soccer.

And last but certainly not least in the Texas Tech Soccer class is Austin product Emma Torres. Playing her club scocer for Sting Austin and her high school soccer for Cedar Ridge, Torres was the District-25 Class 6A Utility Player of the Year for the 2022-24 season and was a First Team All-district selection during the 2021-22 season.  Torres scored 27 total goals during her 2022-23 club season and has scored 20 times for Cedar Ridge.
