Texas Club Soccer League set to launch as US Club Soccer NPL member in 2023-24 season

CHARLESTON, S.C. – US Club Soccer announced the launch of the Texas Club Soccer League, consisting of nine clubs in the north Texas area, which will join the National Premier Leagues (NPL) as a new member league for the 2023-24 season.

The addition of this club-based league bolsters and complements US Club Soccer’s competition opportunities for members in the region, including the ECNL Regional League in north Texas.

These nine clubs now have an additional level of play available within the NPL for their U-13 through U-19 boys and girls teams:

  • Avanti Soccer Academy
  • BVB International Academy Texas
  • Dallas Surf SC
  • FC Dallas
  • Kernow Storm FC
  • North Texas Celtic FC
  • Renegades SC
  • Solar SC
  • Sting SC

“We are very excited about the opportunity to serve the North Texas area soccer clubs with a club-based membership league,” said Aaron Gordon, Texas Club Soccer League director. “US Club Soccer’s NPL platform is the perfect complement to our current ECNL RL-NTX league and its members.”

Beginning in the fall season, these clubs will compete for qualification to the 2024 NPL Finals, which will be held in July in Denver, Colorado. Top teams will then compete against 17 other regional NPL member leagues throughout the country for championships.

The NPL’s stated vision is to serve youth soccer by forming and collaborating with leagues, adopting the Players First philosophy and supporting US Club Soccer’s mission to foster the development of clubs.
