SYC announces Justin O’Shell as Director of Youth Development

(Via SYC) – SYC Soccer has announced Justin O’Shell as the club’s new Director of Youth Development.

O’Shell has an extensive background working with young players, and believes in cultivating a fun environment focused on player development.   He is the former Director of Player Development at LMVSC and former Director of Programs at NVSC. He holds his National USSF “C” Coaching license, USSF National Youth License, and LaLiga Formation Methology certificate and is pursuing his National USSF “B” Coaching license.

O’Shell will lead SYC’s Pee Wee through U8 programs including summer camps and clinics. He will also be responsible for the new year-long SYC Soccer U7-U8 Developmental Academy program, which prepares boys and girls born in 2012 & 2011 to play travel soccer.

In addition, O’Shell will be the Head Coach for the travel 2010 Girls and 2009 Girls age group going forward. SYC boasts the region’s largest recreational soccer program, and with O’Shell’s addition, aims to continue raising the quality of its training for all younger age groups.
