Strikers host Ohio ECNL teams, ASL matches as part of Jefferson Cup

As part of the Jefferson Cup this weekend, Richmond Strikers Under-14 through U-18 Elite Club National League teams are in action and will take on Ohio Premier Eagles Saturday and Ohio Elite Soccer Academy Sunday.
The Strikers U-16 team will look for a strong performance this weekend to move up in the Mid-Atlantic Division standings, as it stands 6-3-3 and in fourth place with a 1.75 points-per-game average. Both of the Strikers’ opponents have played half as many games coming into the weekend, but Ohio Elite is in second place with a 5-1-0 record and a 2.50 ppg average.
The Strikers U-14 team (4-3-2, 1.56 ppg average) can also move up in the standings with a strong showing, as it also is in fourth.
FC Virginia’s U-17s (10-1-1), meanwhile will look to maintain its standing in a pair of games this weekend against the same two teams–Ohio Elite Saturday and Ohio Premier Sunday.
Mostly Mid-Atlantic Conference and Southeast Conference teams will be in action this weekend in Elite Clubs National League play.

Atlantic Soccer League action at Jefferson Cup
Atlantic Soccer League play resumes this weekend at the Jefferson Cup for boys’ teams in the U-14 through U-18 age groups.
Teams are playing three games against each other in their respective age groups on Friday through Sunday.
