Steve D’Adamo rejoins Richmond Strikers as Director of Tournaments

(Via Richmond Strikers) – The Richmond Strikers have announced that Steve D’Adamo has been hired as the new Director of Tournaments for the club. D’Adamo previously worked for the Strikers for two years as the Director of Event Marketing & Sponsorship and the Assistant Director of Tournaments and coached seven years for the club.
D’Adamo joins the Strikers from L.C. Bird High School where he has spent the past four years, the last two as the Student Activities Director.
He comes from a very experienced soccer background, having played collegiately for Virginia Tech (‘02). Steve previously coached in the Strikers’ ECNL program and also has been a head coach as New River Valley Soccer Club, Southwestern and at Hanover High School.
D’Adamo currently holds a USSF B coaching license. He received his Master’s degree in Sport Leadership from VCU in 2012 and has been an adjunct professor for the program since 2014.
In this role, D’Adamo will be responsible for the management, marketing and the overall day-to-day operations of the Richmond Strikers Tournament Series with a primary focus on the prestigious Jefferson Cup and the Capital Fall Classic tournaments.
