Six Potomac area teams earn US Youth Soccer Region I titles

Six teams representing Virginia and Maryland won division titles on Tuesday at the US Youth Soccer Region I Championships in West Virginia.

Local clubs that had teams capture regional championships include Bethesda SC (U-12 Boys), Loudoun SC (U-16 Boys), Pipeline SC (U-17 Boys), BRYC Elite (U-14 Girls) and McLean Youth Soccer (U-19 Girls). Independent team Baltimore Darby 01/02 also won the U-14 Boys Region I title.

The Lee Mt. Vernon SC Patriots Red U-12 Boys, FCV Ashburn Elite U-14 Boys, Fewster FC U-16 Boys, Loudoun SC Red U-17 Boys,Baltimore Celtic SC U-19 Boys and BRYC Elite U-12 Girls each finished as finalists in their respective age groups.
