Retired greats Hamm, Lilly, Venturini Hoch in Richmond next week
Former U.S. Women’s National Team stars Mia Hamm, Kristine Lilly and Tisha Venturini Hoch will be conducting a three-day camp for girls aged 8-19 at Striker Park, the home facility of the Richmond Strikers, in Glen Allen, Va. next week.
The trio have earned five Olympic gold medals, five Women’s World Cup championships, and 12 NCAA national championships between them, earning places in the pantheon of all-time greats in women’s soccer.
The camps are run by the TeamFirst Soccer Academy. which describes itself as “dedicated to providing girls and young women an opportunity to develop as individual players within a disciplined and unselfish team environment.”
Each session is three hours long, with morning and afternoon sessions taking place from Tuesday, June 19 through Thursday, June 21.
