Perry Kitchen replaces Michael Orozco on USMNT roster for upcoming match against Mexico

CHICAGO (Via U.S. Soccer) — U.S. Men’s National Team head coach Jurgen Klinsmann has added D.C. United midfielder Perry Kitchen to the U.S. roster for USA-Mexico.  Kitchen replaces Michael Orozco, who will not travel to San Antonio following discussions with his club.

Kitchen made his Senior Team debut earlier this year when he entered as a substitute in the USA’s 2-0 win against Panama on Feb. 8 at the StubHub Center in Carson, California.

The 64th edition of the USA-Mexico rivalry takes place this Wednesday, April 15, at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. CT and the game will be broadcast live on FOX Sports 1, UniMas and Univision Deportes Network.
