Over 500 teams competing in 2026 Jefferson Cup Boys Weekend

Richmond, VA – The 2026 Jefferson Cup is set to get underway this weekend, as more than 500 teams will compete in the U9-U14 Boys Weekend from March 7-8. (TOURNAMENT GUIDE)

Teams across the 2012-2017 age groups will be playing in a Championship Format with games taking place Saturday and Sunday. Competition will include 7v7 and 9v9 action for the younger divisions, and 11v1 for select U12 teams, and all U13 and U14 brackets.

Many of the top clubs in the country will be represented at the Jefferson Cup Boys Weekend, including those from top leagues such as MLS NEXT, ECNL Boys and more. Over the course of the prestigious four-weekend tournament, clubs from 32 different U.S. states will be competing, along with Canada, Jamaica, Puerto Rico and Bermuda.

The Jefferson Cup Boys Weekend will also feature Goalkeeper Clinics hosted by Own The Goal: Elite Goalkeeper Training (OTG). Goalkeepers from the U11-U14 age groups will have the opportunity to participate in the clinics on Friday, sharpening their skills ahead of the high-level tournament.

Opening weekend will be followed by the Girls Weekend (U9-U14) from March 14-15. After the younger age groups wrap up play, the Showcase portion of the competition will kick into high gear with the Girls Showcase Weekend (U15-U19) from March 20-22. The 2026 Jefferson Cup will wrap up with the Boys Showcase Weekend (U15-U19) from March 27-29.
