STILLWATER – Oklahoma State has added graduate transfer Kate Dreyer to its roster for the 2024 season.
Dreyer, a defender and midfielder, comes to Stillwater after a four-year career at Kansas.
“We are so excited to welcome Kate home to OSU, and I can’t wait to start working with her in August,” said OSU head coach Colin Carmichael. “Kate is a very talented player and an exceptional student-athlete. She has the ability to play both in the midfield and on the back line, and she brings a massive amount of experience of competing in the Big 12, which will be a huge benefit to our team.”
A native of Tulsa, Dreyer played in 60 matches in her KU career, including making 44 starts. She tallied four goals and a pair of assists for the Jayhawks.
Dreyer is coming off a season in which appeared in 17 matches, 10 as a starter, and recorded a goal on eight shots. She was a two-time Academic All-Big 12 First Team performer and earned a degree from KU earlier this month.
As a prep, Dreyer starred at Cascia Hall, where she scored 20 goals and had 13 assists as a junior. A member of TSC Hurricane at the club level, she helped the team reach the finals of the North American Cup in 2017. She was ranked by TopDrawerSoccer.com as the No. 5 player in the South Region and a three-star recruit in 2020.
