In addition to playing at Belson Stadium, the NYCFC Academy will have access to the locker rooms, state-of-the-art gym for strength and conditioning and film rooms for game and training breakdown.

“We’re really happy to move our Academy to a new home and partner with St. John’s University in Queens,” New York City Sporting Director Claudio Reyna said. “St. John’s is a central location in New York City with top-class athletic facilities that will give our players and coaches a stable home base for training and competitive matches throughout the season. As we continue to grow our Academy we are confident that St. John’s will help us to provide a fantastic platform for our young players.”

St. John’s University is excited to welcome New York City FC’s Academy to our campus,” said Senior Associate Athletic Director John Diffley. “We believe Belson Stadium is a perfect fit, and the New York City FC participants will be pleased with the top athletic facilities, and have an outstanding experience on our campus.”
