TAMPA, Fla (Via Super Y League) – Further expanding the Super Y League’s New York presence, the league has announced the addition of Manhattan SC, set to join the North Atlantic Division in 2018.

“The addition of Manhattan SC is an exciting one for the SYL,” said the USL’s Associate of Business Development Dominic Colarusso. “The club is one of the most successful youth organizations in the largest city in the U.S. and the SYL’s summer platform will allow it to provide even more opportunities for New York City’s thousands of youth players.”

One of the leading clubs in New York City, the addition of Manhattan SC to the SYL allows the club to offer a year-round platform to its players, aiding in its development of elite players and allowing them to compete against top teams from their region. The competitive summer platform will allow players to continue to grow and gain exposure on a national scale at events like the SYL North American Finals and the USL Experience.

“We are excited to join Super Y League for the 2018 season,” said Ray Selvadurai, Manhattan SC Director of Coaching. “Our goal is to provide an avenue for our committed players to continue to develop through extended summer training and meaningful match play. The Super Y League is a perfect fit for our program.”

“We are looking forward to the challenge of preparing and competing in one of the highest levels of youth soccer available in this country,” Selvadurai continued. “We want to see how our program compares on a national level in Super Y League, and are confident that our program will be a valuable member to push the competitive landscape of the league.”
