Kip Thompson named Director of SLSG West
(Via SLSG) – To support the rapid growth of the club in St. Charles, Lincoln and Warren counties, St. Louis Scott Gallagher Soccer Club (SLSG) has named Kip Thompson as Director of SLSG West.
In 2015, SLSG announced a merger with Mid Rivers Soccer Club to include their teams and 5-field facility in Cottleville, MO. The facility provides a central footprint to serve youth soccer players in the St. Charles and surrounding areas. SLSG then created “SLSG-West”.
In his new role, Thompson will oversee all SLSG West teams and the SLSG – Mid Rivers facility. “SLSG West offers a top-notch soccer facility and professional training – centrally located in St. Charles County. We look forward to welcoming new players, families and teams in the coming months.”

Thompson has been with St. Louis Scott Gallagher since its inception in 2008. Prior to the merger of three large youth soccer clubs in 2008, Thompson was Program Director with Scott Gallagher Soccer Club from 2005-2008.
“Our growth and success in St. Charles County has been exciting to experience in recent years. Kip is the right person to manage and lead our effort in that area to provide the highest quality youth soccer experience for players of all levels,” said Patrick Barry, Executive Director of SLSG.
