Jefferson Cup Interview: PWSI’s Ken Krieger
Potomac Soccer Wire’s Travis Clark caught up with legendary coach Ken Krieger at the Jefferson Cup on Friday, just after his under-17 PWSI Courage had won the Atlantic Soccer League match over Triangle FC Navy by an impressive 4-0 score.
Josh Campbell put in a strong performance for PWSI, as the Courage was strong on both sides of the ball. A Triangle FC free kick rattled the bar in the second half, but the Courage offense proved to be too much for their opponents to handle.
[Editor’s Note: If you’re a follower of the women’s game and recognize the Krieger name, it may be because his daughter Ali plays for the US Women’s National Team, as well as professionally for FC Frankfort in Germany.]
