Indiana women’s soccer signs two more incoming freshmen

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana Women’s Soccer has announced the addition of two incoming freshmen for the 2019 season – Lily Davis and Chloe Briede.

A defender from San Diego, Davis played her club soccer for San Diego Surf in the Development Academy. Davis also played two years of soccer for Canyon Crest Academy, where she led the team in goals and assists as an outside back in her sophomore season en route to earning All-League honors. Davis is the daughter of Heather and Jeff and has one younger sister, Camille.

Briede is a goalkeeper from Alpharetta, Ga. and played club for Tophat, where she led the team to three appearances in the ECNL Nationals Champions League. In addition, she guided Tophat to a Southeast Region title in her sophomore season to go along with a final four finish in Nationals. Briede attended Milton High School and is the daughter of Cathy and Dave, who played baseball at Indiana in 1983. Briede has three siblings – Taylor, Belle and Olivia. Belle will be a junior this fall on the Stanford Women’s Soccer team.
