Girls ECNL National Finals coming up this weekend in Richmond, Va.

The 2019 Girls ECNL National Finals are taking place Friday and Saturday at West Creek Complex in Richmond, Va.

National champions will be decided across the U14-U17 age groups, with the semifinals on Friday and the finals on Saturday.

The semifinalists were determined at the ECNL National Playoffs in San Diego. Matchups for the semifinals will be decided on Thursday, July 11 during the ECNL Finals Draw at 6:00 p.m. ET.

U14

Concorde Fire – Platinum (GA)
Regular Season Record: 16W-5L-4D
Goals For / Against: 46 / 17

It was a perfect showing for Concorde Fire – Platinum at the ECNL National Playoffs in San Diego, as they swept Group D with 3 straight wins before shutting out Strikers FC 3-0 in the quarterfinals.

Heat FC (NV)
Regular Season Record: 18-1-2
Goals For / Against: 71 / 13

Nevada-based Heat FC stormed through Group B at the National Playoffs with 3 consecutive wins and a 10-2 goal differential, before a dominant 4-0 victory over AHFC in the knockout stage.

LAFC Slammers (CA)
Regular Season Record: 19-1-1
Goals For / Against: 67 / 15

No. 3 overall seed LAFC Slammers punched their ticket to the National Finals with 4 wins in a row at the National Playoffs. After outscoring their Group C opponents by a total of 11-3, they won a 1-0 defensive battle in the quarterfinals over Minnesota Thunder Academy.

Regular Season Record: 23-0-0
Goals For / Against: 106 / 6

Top-seeded PDA remains perfect on the season with 30 straight wins in league play, including ECNL national event and postseason competition. Even No. 5 seed Michigan Hawks was unable to keep up with PDA when they met in the quarterfinals, as the No. 1 seed won 3-1.

FC Pride (IN)
Regular Season Record: 19-4-2
Goals For / Against: 67 / 22

5th-seeded FC Pride racked up 12 goals while sweeping their 3 opponents in the group stage, and went on to outlast No. 3 seed LAFC Slammers 1-0 in a hard-fought quarterfinal battle.

Gwinnett Soccer Academy (GA)
Regular Season Record: 21-7-3
Goals For / Against: 71 / 23

In an evenly-matched Group G, the Georgia side advanced to the quarterfinals with 1 win and 2 draws, edging Utah Avalanche on tiebreaker. GSA punched their ticket to Richmond with a 3-1 knockout stage win over Carolina Elite SA.

Mountain View Los Altos (CA)
Regular Season Record: 21-1-1
Goals For / Against: 96 / 19

MVLA is the No. 1 seed at the U15 level, and they did not disappoint in the National Playoffs. They outscored their Group A competition 9-1, and came out on top 2-1 in their quarterfinal match against Ohio Premier.

Players Development Academy – Blue (NJ)
Regular Season Record: 15-4-4
Goals For / Against: 48 / 15

A dominant defensive effort helped PDA win all 3 Group C matches, as they conceded just 1 total goal. In the quarterfinals, the PDA attack found their stride in a 3-1 win over Richmond United.

LAFC Slammers (CA)
Regular Season Record: 26-2-2
Goals For / Against: 80 / 18

No. 3 seed LAFC Slammers did not concede a single goal over the course of their 4 consecutive victories at the ECNL National Playoffs. Their final clean sheet came in the quarterfinals as they earned a 1-0 win against Maryland United.

Michigan Hawks (MI)

The U-16 age group’s No. 4 overall seed, Michigan Hawks were tested early and often, but battled through Group H and ultimately pulled off an upset against No. 1 seed Eclipse Select in the quarterfinals. Michigan came out on top of a 4-3 barnburner to eliminate top-seeded Eclipse.

St. Louis Scott Gallagher (MO)
Regular Season Record: 17-3-2
Goals For / Against: 58 / 18

Group B at the National Playoffs saw 3 teams finish with identical 2-1-0 records, but SLSG reached the knockout stage on tiebreaker. They made good on their opportunity to advance, shutting out Indiana Fire 2-0 in the quarterfinals.

The No. 2 overall seed in the U16 age group, So Cal Blues was perfect with a 3-0-0 run through Group C, followed by a 1-0 clean sheet effort in the quarterfinals against PDA.

U17

LAFC Slammers (CA)
Regular Season Record: 24-1-5
Goals For / Against: 100 / 30

No. 1 overall seed LAFC Slammers posted an unbeaten 2-0-1 record in Group F, before defeating fellow Southwest Conference side Mustang SC 3-2 in a wild quarterfinal battle.

Ohio Premier (OH)
Regular Season Record: 21-6-0
Goals For / Against: 50 / 24

A head-to-head win over Strikers FC helped Ohio Premier reach the quarterfinals, as OP advanced on tiebreaker after both sides finished Group D play with 2-1-0 records. OP came out on top of their quarterfinal match, 2-1, over FC Stars East.

Goals For / Against: 87 / 25

4th-seeded PDA cruised to 4 straight wins in San Diego, earning their place at the National Finals. After outscoring their Group G opponents 10-3, PDA shut out SLSG 2-0 in the knockout stage.

World Class FC (NY)
Regular Season Record: 18-2-5
Goals For / Against: 53 / 17

Another Northeast Conference side, World Class FC, notched a perfect showing at the National Playoffs with 4 consecutive victories. They swept Group A and punched their ticket with a 1-0 clean sheet win over FC Pride in the quarterfinals.
