ECNL Boys 2025 North Carolina National Event Recap: Top performing U13-U14 teams

The ECNL Boys North Carolina National Event took place from May 9-11 at Mecklenburg County Sportsplex in Matthews, North Carolina. The three day event will featured 108 teams from the ECNL Boys U13-U14 age groups.

Perfect Weekends

This weekend in North Carolina, 16 teams won all their games across the two age groups. In the B11 age group Connecticut FC, Delaware FC, NCFC Youth, NCFC Youth Academy, Ohio Premier, and SAFC won all three of their games, while in the B12 age group Alabama FC, Atlanta Fire United, Cleveland Force SC, Delaware FC, East Meadow SC, Louisville City Academy NCFC Youth Academy, Ohio Premier, Skyline Elite, and World Class FC won all their games.

Standout Performances

Connecticut FC’s B11 team has had a strong year in the New England Conference with a 12-5-1 record and continued to build momentum in North Carolina as they head towards this summer’s ECNL National Playoffs. Connecticut FC picked up three clean sheets over the weekend, defeating FC Wisconsin, Louisville City Academy, and Ohio Elite SA, pushing their winning streak to nine in a row over the past two months.

Alabama FC’s B12 team won the Mid-America Conference with an impressive 16-1-1 record and they kept their momentum going in North Carolina. Alabama FC picked up wins over Pipeline SC, RISE SC, and Nationals SC, while not conceding a goal on the weekend.
